National Take Back Initiative Day
September 25, 2010 will be the 'National Take Back the Initiative' Day. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is coordinating a one-day collaborative effort with state and local law enforcement agencies, such as the City of Brush! Police Department, to remove potentially dangerous prescription drugs from our nation's homes. The event will be held during the Oktoberfest Celebration in Brush this year.
A national take-back day will provide a unified opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement officers for destruction. More Info
