The City of Brush! Recreation Department is gearing up for another exciting year in Boys Baseball. The lack of field space has forced these programs to start earlier than in the past so adult and senior programs may also use the Joslin Needham Softball Complex. The competitive season for these programs will be held in June and July. Below is a listing of the age divisions along with additional information. With all programs, the child's age is as of December 31st 2010. The City will be holding registrations on March 18th and 23rd from 5pm - 7pm at the Brush Recreation Department, City Hall. Parents may also register online from the Parks and Recreation home page. NO PHONE REGISTRATIONS ALLOWED!!

Co Ed T-Ball - For children ages 4-6 who are just beginning to learn the concepts of baseball. Practices will be held 1 to 2 times per week and play approximately 6 games. Program to begin in late April. $35 Fee

Co Ed Farm - For children ages 7-8 (6 yr olds may play with approval through the Rec Dept). Practices will be held 1-2 times per week and play approximately 12 games, including some with Fort Morgan. Program to begin in late April. $45 Fee

Minor Baseball Boys - For children ages 9-10 (8 yr olds may play with approval through the Rec Dept). Program to begin in early April. Assessments will be held for this league and a draft will determine what team he plays on. Practices will be held at least 2 days a week and play approximately 15 games, including some against Fort Morgan. $60 Fee

Major Baseball Boys - For children ages 11-12 (10 yr olds may be drafted in to majors if parents allow). Program to begin in early April. Assessments will be held for this league and a draft will determine what team he plays for. Practices will be held at least twice a week and play approximately 15 games, including a league tournament with Fort Morgan. $75 Fee

Travel Baseball Boys - For children interested in competitive baseball. Ages 9-12 will have the opportunity to participate and play games against teams from surrounding communities. These teams will participate in the Summer Sizzler Baseball Tournament. Participation numbers and ability level will dictate the numbers and what team a player will participate with. THIS IS A COMPETITIVE LEAGUE AND THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OF PLAYING TIME OR POSITION! $90 Fee
