If you are looking to start, move, or expand into Brush, we have much to offer! With community minded citizens, charming settings, ideal locations, business incentives, and an engaged business climate, Brush is great place to get plugged in.
Brush! downtown has been revitalized and is vibrant once again. With new streets and sidewalks, beautiful planters, new lights and benches, and new businesses continually filling in, this is a great location to set up shop if you are looking at opening doors to your own business. Our downtown has been part of the Colorado Main Street program since 2001 and has been a forerunner and prime example to downtowns across the state for the great accomplishments here. The program is ran through the Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City and local businesses. It is a wonderful resource and asset to our downtown businesses, and another great reason for you to come and join in the heart of our community.
There is a link on the right for downtown buildings available for sale and rent. Also be sure to look at the Downtown New Business Incentive Program ran by the City to help you get started.
The Economic Development Stakeholders Group was formed for better communication between entities. The initial goal was to identify strengths, roles and responsibilities while building trust and cooperation, creating an attractive business atmosphere to foster growth and quality jobs. Together we form the rapid response team.
The City Council and Staff provide available resources, and have access to State and Federal Resources for financial assistance and business development. The Morgan County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) provides information and resources to new and expanding businesses to optimize the activities of economic and community development. They add Precision Marketing, economic impact studies and labor force analysis to the team effort. Chamber Board members are the community ambassadors with emphasis on promoting existing business and retail. The School District's key role is providing quality education for a qualified workforce. The District's participation and assistance in generating ideas is invaluable to the Stakeholder's Group.
