Brush Rodeo

Each year, July 2-4, Brush is home to the one of the most exciting rodeos you'll find anywhere. Three days full of all the rodeo action you could hope for, including bronc riding, barrel racing, bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, Mutton Bustin', a free BBQ, Little Princess rides, our 4th of July parade, and fireworks to close it all out.

St. Patrick's Day 5k Walk/Run

On March 11th, 2017 will be our 12th annual St. Patrick's Day 5k Walk/Run. Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Jaycee Building. Runners and walkers will begin at 9:00 a.m., and there will be a youth fun run at 10:00 a.m. We will have awards, music, corned beef & cabbage, as well as green beer. The fee for the race is $30 is pre-registered, $35 the day of, and $10 for the youth fun run.

Brush! Rush! 5k Walk/Run

The City will be hosting the 34th annual Brush! Rush! 5k run/walk on Saturday, June 25th at the East Morgan County Library Park. There will be a raffle, music, and a one-mile Fun Run for children ages 12 and under. Each participant will receive a T-shirt. Medals and plaques will be given to the top finishers in each group. The fee for the race is $25 for pre-registered participants and $30 the day of the race. The Fun Run is only $10. For those who register a group of 10 or more the fee will be $15 per person. The Fun Run will begin at 7:30 am this year with the Race beginning at 8:00am.

Volksmarch 5k Community Walk

Volksmarch: German, meaning "people's march." A 5k (3.1 miles) or 10k (6.2 miles) community fitness walk we do each year before our annual Oktoberfest in downtown Brush! We will begin at the northwest corner of East Morgan County Library, and finish near the festival. We will have giveaways and prizes in addition to the sponsors and refreshments along the way. For fun, you can even dress in your best authentic German attire and come join with us!


Parks & Recreation Week

Join the Brush Parks and Recreation Department for the biggest week of the summer! Starting July 10th and running through July 15th, the City of Brush! will be hosting a variety of activities such as mud volleyball, a horseshoe tournament, a free golf and swim day, a pancake breakfast, pickle ball and an outdoor movie night!

  • Sunday, July 10 - Free golf at The Course at Petteys Park
  • Monday, July 11 - 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament & Wiffle Ball Tournament at Sunset Park
  • Tuesday, July 12 - Free Swim, Belly Flop Contest, Games, Movie in the pool
  • Wednesday, July 13 - Free Community Breakfast, pickleball, bocce ball at Petteys Park
  • Thursday, July 14 - Horseshoe Tournament & Mud Volleyball Tournament at VFW Park
  • Friday, July 15 - Movie Night at Sunset Baseball Field

Community Trips

Each year we make wonderful trips to great destinations available to the community. Over the past few years we have had trips to exciting destinations including New York City, Branson, New Orleans, and Washington D.C.
