Keep Your Water Pipes From Freezing!
It's that time of the year again, winter. With winter also comes the occasional nose biting cold snaps, and that spells trouble with water pipes. One of the time-honored beliefs is that running water during a cold snap will keep water pipes from freezing. While this may work most of the time as a quick fix, the cure is not to run the water but to prevent the problem in the first place - cold air reaching your water pipes. read more

The exclamation point after our name dates back to 1978 when the Brush Area Chamber of Commerce and the City Council began placing the exclamation point after Brush to emphasize a "can do attitude". It caught hold when we were experiencing an economic lull. read more

Regular City Council Meetings are held every second and fourth Monday of the month beginning at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers, 600 Edison St.
Meetings are televised on Cable TV Channel 10.
